DEVICE AUTHENTIFICATION

Lets you check the operational status of the refrigerator on a Samsung smart TV.
To access the refrigerator from the TV, you must go through the authentication procedure, which is
required just once, the fi rst time you use this function.
1. Select the refrigerator on the Smart Home on your
smartphone to proceed with the authentication.
2. Press the button in the right bottom corner of the
Settings list.
3. Tap [Authenticate] to complete the authentication
procedure.

S/W UPDATE

Lets you check the current software version and update the software when a new version is available.
1. Press the button in the right bottom corner of the Settings list.
2. Select [S/W Update] in the Settings list.
• The software update is provided through the
wireless network. When updated software is
available, the [Upgrade] button on the bottom
right corner of the screen is activated.
When you press the [Upgrade] button, the
upgraded starts almost immediately (in about
10 seconds). When the update is complete,
the "Upgrade completed." message appears
on the screen. Press the [Reboot] button in
the "Upgrade completed" message window to
fi nalize the upgrade.
