KITCHEN PHONE

The Kitchen Phone function lets you make and receive phone calls from the refrigerator via a Samsung
smart phone that is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the refrigerator and is running the Samsung
Smart Home app.
For instructions explaining how to connect the refrigerator to your network, see page 79.
• Available on Galaxy S5 and Note3 or later running on Android OS 4.4 (Kitkat) or higher.
• The smartphone must be connected to the same network as the refrigerator.
• You must have has installed the Samsung Smart Home app on the phone and Kitchen Phone
must be activated on the phone.
• Be aware that hacking and privacy issues that apply to smartphones also apply to phone calls
made using Kitchen Phone.
Before you begin:
1. Download the Samsung Smart Home App to your Samsung Smartphone. See page 112.
2. Run the Kitchen Phone App on your smart phone and create a password.

How to connect your smartphone to Kitchen Phone

1. Turn on your smartphone, launch the Kitchen Phone
app, and then tap the Kitchen Phone icon on the
Home screen of the refrigerator.
2. You will be provided with the connection steps along
with the privacy notice.
