Installing the MCU (Motorola Client Utility)
Application
Perform the following steps:
1. Quit all Windows applications.
The MCU must be installed by a
system administrator.
NOTE
The WDE1000 must be inserted, or
WDE1100 installed into your laptop
computer before installing the MCU
(Motorola Client Utility) application
(see "Inserting WDE1000 Into Your
Laptop Computer" on page 11 or
WDE1100 Mini PCI Card Installation
Guide - P/N 6802980C85).
When inserting the WDE1000 into
your laptop computer before the
installation, a "New Hardware
Found" pop-up dialog appears.
Press "CANCEL" weather the driver
name is displayed or not.
