The SB4200 drivers may have loaded, but no protocol was bound to the adapter. To see
if this is the case:

Remove the USB cable from the SB4200.

From the Windows Desktop, right-click the Network Neighborhood icon
a list of options.

Highlight and then click Properties at the bottom of the list. The Network window is
displayed.

Click the Configuration tab, highlight the Motorola Surfboard USB Cable Modem
SB4100 entry, and then click Properties.

Click the Bindings tab. If TCP/IP is not listed, either add the protocol to the adapter
or remove the entry for Motorola Surfboard USB Cable Modem SB4100.
To remove the entry: In the Network window, highlight Motorola Surfboard USB Cable
Modem SB4100 and then press Remove.
