Warning and safety instructions
Children

Activate the Child Safety Lock so
that children cannot turn the wok on
inadvertently.
~
Always supervise any children in the
vicinity of the wok. Never let children
play with the appliance.
~
Children may use the appliance only
if they have received sufficient
instruction to operate it safely. Those
children must then be able to recognize
the potential dangers of improper use.

The wok is hot during use and
remains so for some time after being
turned off. Keep children away from the
appliance until it has cooled down.
Danger of burns.
~
Keep the spaces above and behind
the wok clear of any items that could
draw the interest of a child. Otherwise,
a child might be tempted to climb on
the appliance. Danger of burns!

Make sure that children cannot grab
and topple the wok pan. ALWAYS turn
the pan handle inward so that it does
not extend out from the cooktop, where
it could be grabbed - this helps reduce
the danger of burns and scalding.

Packing materials (e.g., foil,
Styrofoam) can be dangerous for
children, Danger of suffocation. Ensure
that any packing material is disposed of
safely and kept out of the reach of
children.
