1.0 Introduction The ELMOW 20/24 mower consists of a 20/24” 10 bladed cutting cylinder, bottom blade, a powered groomer, two electric motors and a driven rear roller. The cutting cylinder is driven by an 180W electric motor via a timing belt drive. The land roller is driven by a second 180W electric motor driven via a worm and wheel gearbox and a final chain and sprocket drive.

The bottom blade adjusters can sometimes become very tight and may be hard to turn. If this is the case: Slacken off the grub screw on the collar • behind the adjuster as shown. Rotate the adjuster anti-clockwise 1/8 • a turn.
It is advised that the grinding/reconditioning of the cylinder and bottom blade be carried out by either Turfmech Machinery Limited or a registered Allett dealer. The bottom blade of the Tournament mower should be ground with a 5 angle as shown below.
10.6 Handle bar height The handle bar height can be adjusted by rotating the top handle bar assembly. First slacken the fasteners on the tube clamps, pivot the top handle bar to the desire position and retighten the fasteners. The tiller assembly can also slide along the handle bar tube.

18.2 Control system trouble shooting guide The control system has inbuilt self diagnostic capabilities. If a problem occurs with the controllers or its associated wiring the status light will flash. The right hand status light signals the status of the land roll motor and controller. The left hand status light signals the status of the cutting cylinder motor and controller.
