SYSTÈME DE PROTECTIÓN
DE MOTEUR
Interrupteur de protection thermique: Cet
agitateur comprend un protecteur thermique qui
s'active automatiquement afin de protéger le
moteur de l'agitateur contre la surchauffe. Si une
obstruction arrête le débit normal de l'air au
moteur, le protecteur thermique arrête automa-
tiquement le moteur afin de le permettre de se
refroidir afin de prévenir des dommages possi-
bles à l'aspirateur. Durant cette période, la
lumière et le moteur d'aspiration restent en
marchent.
Pour corriger le problème:
Si ceci arrive, arrêter l'aspirateur et débrancher
le cordon d'alimentation de la prise murale afin
de permettre à l'agitateur de se refroidir et au
protecteur thermique de se réinitialiser. Chercher
et retirer les obstructions le cas échéant. Aussi
chercher et remplacer tout filtre obstrué.
Attendre environ trente (30) minutes et
rebrancher l'aspirateur et remettre en marche
afin d'assurer que le protecteur se soit
réinitialisé. Le protecteur du moteur ne se
réinitialisera pas si l'aspirateur n'est pas éteint
même si le moteur est refroidi.
Dispositif de protection du moteur:
Cet aspirateur est
nanti d'une soupape
de dérivation qui
s'ouvrira
automatiquement pour
refroidir le moteur
lorsqu'il y a
obstruction. Si la
soupape de dérivation
s'ouvre pour
empêcher le moteur
Protecteur
de surchauffer et
de moteur
prévenir les
dommages à l'aspirateur, le son d'aspiration sera
différent.
Remarque: Ne pas bloquer le protecteur de
moteur.
Pour corriger le problème Consulter le tableau de
DÉPANNAGE.

Extend the wand to its full length. Turn the
locking ring to the LOCK position. Attach
the wand onto the open end of the hose.
Align the tabs on the wand with the "J"
slots in the hose. Push the wand into the
hose and twist to the right to lock.

To achieve maximum reach with the
attachments, add the crevice tool to the
end of the wand by inserting and twisting
slightly.
The combination brush can be attached
directly to the wand.

Use the brush holder without the brush for
greater suction on furniture cushions or
stairs. Use brush holder with brush for
cleaning loose surfaces such as drapes.

CONTROL SLIDE
Telescopic Wand
When using attachments for cleaning
draperies, small rugs with low pile and
other delicate items, twist the suction con-
trol slide to the open position. This slide is
located on the telescopic wand, close to
the hose.
This will reduce
suction for ease
of cleaning.
Note: Return suction control slide to the
closed position for normal cleaning.
CAUTION
When using attachments, be careful
not to overextend the stretch hose
when reaching. Trying to reach beyond
the hose stretch capability could cause
the vacuum cleaner to tip over.
TO STORE ATTACHMENTS
Remove the combination brush. Snap into
appropriate storage location.
Remove crevice tool from the wand by twist-
ing. Lay aside.
Remove the telescopic wand from the hose.
Twist the wand to the left and pull from the
hose end.
CAUTION
DO NOT pull the vacuum cleaner
around the room by the hose.
Property damage or personal injury
could result.
Unlock the wand by turning the wand lock-
ing ring to the UNLOCK position.
Slide the lower wand into the upper wand.
Turn the wand locking ring to the LOCK
position.
Place the crevice tool down into the com-
pressed wand. Place the telescopic wand in
the wand holder
