PREPARATION

Fuel (For models equipped with a Yamaha
fuel tank)
WARNING
9 Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous.
Check "SAFETY INFORMATION" (See page 1)
carefully before filling.
9 Carefully fill the fuel tank in order to avoid fuel
from spilling out of the fuel tank.
9 Stop filling when the fuel reaches the bottom
of the filler tube, otherwise it may overflow
when the fuel warms up and expands.
9 Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.
9 After refueling, make sure the fuel tank cap is
tightened securely.
NOTICE
Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a clean, dry,
soft cloth, since fuel may deteriorate painted sur-
faces or plastic parts.

1. Stop the engine.
2. Place the multi-purpose engine on a level surface.
3. Remove the fuel tank cap.
