Allows you to set [Simple Search] or [Advanced Search].
[Simple Search] searches by the specified keyword, and [Advanced Search] searches by the
search entries.
Note
 Add New Address
Allows you to add a new recipient. To add a new recipient, use the screen keyboard or current
locations.
For more information on how to add new address, refer to "Add New Address (Registering a Destination PC on the Address
Book)" (P.328).

Address Book (Specifying a Destination Using the Address Book [Type 2])

The following describes how to specify a destination using the Address Book [Type 2].

Select [Address Book].

Select the destination to store the data in.

Select [Add].
Important • You can only use destinations configured for SMB or FTP.

 List all public entries
Displays the local address list.
Select [ ] to return to the previous screen or [ ] to move to the next screen.
Scroll the list by drag or flick operation to switch the screen to be displayed. For information
on how to drag or flick, refer to "Touch Screen" (P.97).
Select items you want to set for a recipient, and select [Add].
 Retrieve entries using index
Specify an alphanumeric index character set when registering speed dials to retrieve the
addresses or a speed dial to display at the top of the address list.
 Name/Protocol
Lists recipient names and protocols.
• For [Advanced Search], you can set multiple search entries.
• To switch the Address Book entry type, select
[List all public entries], or [Retrieve entries
using index] from the drop-down menu on
the [Server Address Book] screen.
