With each press of the [ + ] or [ - ] button, the temperature setting will be increased or decreased by 1°C.     Getting Started Unpacking • Unpack the appliance but keep the packaging materials for storing the appliance when it is not in use. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are kept out of their reach. • Unwind the cord fully and inspect it for damage.

    Instructions • Before switching the unit on for the first time, make sure you have properly installed the exhaust hose (see pages 12-13) and inserted the battery into the remote control (see page 10). • Plug the portable air conditioner into a properly earthed 220~240V AC 50Hz mains socket and switch on power to the outlet.

    Other Useful Information Care and cleaning Electric shock hazard! Before cleaning and servicing, ensure the unit is switched off and disconnected from the power outlet to prevent possible injury. If the housing surface needs cleaning, wipe it with a damp cloth, then dry with soft, dry cloth.
