Dispose of batteries safely. External Power Supply The radio can also be operated with a 6V DC mains adaptor with a negative centre pin output. Simply connect the adaptor output into the external power input socket (13). -

Using Earphones (not included) The radio has the facility of an earphone socket (14) for private listening. Earphones with an impedance of 8-32 Ohms are recommended. When the jack is in use, the built in speaker is automatically disconnected. -
