This parameter allows the scanner to interface with devices requiring a 7-bit or 8-bit ASCII protocol.
Beep on <BEL>
If you enable this parameter, the scanner issues a beep when it detects a <BEL> character on the RS-232 serial
line. <BEL> gains a user's attention to an illegal entry or other important event.
