What will Zoomed Video (ZV) do for users?
ZV technology, which expands on the capabilities of CardBus, allows video data
on a PC Card to bypass the notebook's processor and be transferred directly to the
video controller, resulting in faster video throughput.
How do the NEC Versa LX and Versa SX allow for office-type communicating
on the road?
A 56Kbps-capable PC Card modem is available so that users can send and receive
faxes and e-mail messages at the fastest speed currently available.
Will users have to replace the PC Cards they already own?
No! Their current PC Cards (formerly called PCMCIA) will work in the NEC
Versa LX and Versa SX even if they're not CardBus or ZV cards.

What multimedia features are included on the NEC Versa LX and Versa SX?
• The Pentium II and Pentium processors with MMX technology rev the
performance of multimedia applications.
• The displays feature a fast refresh rate and wide viewing angle for client-pleasing

is the fastest currently available for a notebook.
