Close the water-resistant case, the holding mechanism and the lock.

Make sure that the water-resistant case shows no signs of damage.

Make sure that the holding mechanism of the water-resistant case is firmly closed and
that no dust or sand is found between the rubber seal and the case.

Make sure that the water-resistant back cover is being used – the open back panel is
not water-resistant! To replace the back cover, please read the next chapter "Replacing
the back cover".
Water-resistant back cover (incl. adapter)
Place one anti-mist pad each on the left and right between the camcorder
and the water-resistant case. This will prevent from mist forming on the
water-resistant case when using under water.
The anti-mist pads can be reused up to 4 times. You can dry out the anti-
mist pads by placing them into a 150°C hot oven for 5 minutes. When
not using them, store the anti-mist pads in an hermetically sealed
container.
Please note the following when using the camcorder under water or
when practicing sports related to water.
