Problem
The audio output is not pro-
vided.
Audio cannot be played cor-
rectly.
Audio cannot be played
using the viewer software.
No live image is displayed.
Check item/Remedy
Is the audio output setting of the camera set correctly?
Is the audio bit rate of the camera set to "32kbps"?
Check the audio bit rate setting of the camera.
When starting the playback of the latest images during
recording, audio may sometimes not be heard.
In this case, stop the playback and then start it again.
Are the image data file "filename.n3r" and the audio data
file "filename.n3a" saved in the same folder?
Check the folder.
• Are the connected network cameras configured cor-
rectly?
Check the settings of the setup menu ("Camera"
-"Network camera setup").
• Are the settings of the setup menu configured correct-
ly?
Check the settings of the setup menu ("Schedule" -
"Program" - "Live video").
• Are the network settings of the cameras and the
recorder configured correctly?
Check the settings of IP address, subnet mask and
default gateway for them.
When M-JPEG is selected for the image compression
method of the camera, live images may not be displayed in
the image display area and black screen will be displayed
for a few minutes in the following cases.
• When frequently checked if the appropriate values are
set for the recording settings by clicking the
[Measurement] button
• When the settings of the recorder are saved repeatedly
Wait around 10 minutes without any operations. The record-
er will function normally.
