USING THE TITLE MENU

With a DVD containing a title menu, you can select
desired titles from the menu.

Press the TITLE button.

The title menu will appear.

Select the desired title.
¡ Press the Arrow buttons (
setting, and then press the ENTER button.
CALLING UP A MENU SCREEN
DURING PLAYBACK
For DVDs

Press the MENU button to call up the DVD menu.
¡
Press the TITLE button to call up the title menu.
Note
¡
Contents of menus and corresponding menu
operations may vary between discs. Refer to the
manual accompanying the disc for details.
PAUSING PLAYBACK OR
DISPLAYING A STILL PICTURE

Press the PAUSE/STEP button during
playback.
¡
Playback will pause, with sound
muted.

Press the PLAY button to resume playback.

RESUMING PLAYBACK FROM
THE POINT WHERE
PLAYBACK STOPPED

Press the STOP button during playback.
¡ Playback will stop, and then the resume message
will appear at the center.

Press the PLAY button. Playback will start
from the point where the previous playback
session was stopped.
Notes
¡ The resume function can be reset by pressing the
STOP button twice or by opening the disc loading tray.
¡ The "Resume" information stays in the memory
even when the power is turned off.
¡ For MP3, JPEG and Picture CD, playback will
resume from the beginning of the track at which
playback was stopped.

STEPPING THROUGH FRAMES

Press the PAUSE/STEP button while
playback is paused.

¡ The next picture frame is
displayed with sound muted each
time the button is pressed.

Press the PLAY button to resume playback.
Notes
¡This machine is not available with a step-back function.
¡Set "STILL MODE" to "FIELD" in the "Display" menu if
pictures in the pause mode are blurred.(for DVD play
only)(Refer to page 31 and 32)
