Focus and exposure lock while the MB-D16
A AE-L/AF-L button is pressed.
Exposure locks while the MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L
button is pressed.
Exposure locks when the MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L
button is pressed, and remains locked until the
button is pressed a second time or the standby
timer expires.
Focus locks while the MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L button
is pressed.
Pressing the MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L button initiates
autofocus. The shutter-release button can not
be used to focus.
Press the MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L button to lock flash
value (built-in flash and compatible optional
flash units only, 0 190, 435). Press again to
cancel FV lock.
The MB-D16 A AE-L/AF-L button performs the
same function as the camera Fn button (0 356).
