using LXEConnect and ActiveSync on a connected host computer.

Function
Software, hardware, versions and network IP. No user intervention allowed.
View voltage and status of the main and backup (or internal) batteries.
Set the parameters for Bluetooth device connections. See

Manage digital certificates used for secure communication.
Set Date, Time, Time Zone, and Daylight Savings.
Connection setup for modem attached to COM port or Compact Flash slot.
Set background graphic and scheme. Set touch screen and keypad backlight properties
and timers.
Set various device specific configuration options.
View the list of installed programs. In some OS versions this panel replaced Remove Pro-
grams.
Select a Key Map (or font). Set key repeat delay and key repeat rate.
Configure Alpha key, KeyMap keys, RunCmd and LaunchApp.
Displays license information for installed licensed applications.
Adjust the input and output parameters – volume, sidetone, and record gain, for headphone,
software and microphone.
Set the double-tap sensitivity for stylus taps on the touch screen.
Set network driver properties and network access properties.
Set network logging options.
Set the mobile device owner details (name, phone, etc.). Enter notes. Enable / disable
Owner display parameters. Enter Network ID for the device – user name, password, do-
main.
Set OS access password properties for signon and/or screen saver.
Control the connection between the mobile device and a local desktop or laptop computer.
Set Power scheme properties. Review device status and properties.
Set appearance of numbers, currency, time and date based on country region and language
settings.
This panel has been replaced by Installed Programs
Scan Wedge utility. Set scanner key wedge, scanner port, and imager LED illumination op-
tions. Assign baud rate, parity, stop bits and data bits for COM1 port. Assign scanned bar
code data manipulation parameters. See
