Congratulations
Thank you for selecting the PELOUZE FS6.
With proper care and usage it's technology
should provide you with trouble free service.
PELOUZE FS6 IS A 6 POUND AND/OR
2700 GRAM SCALE
Recharging
1. FS6 can be charged only when "LOW
BAT" and "Charge" appears in display.
2. To recharge, plug scale into 110V outlet
using Pelouze ADPT6 adapter.
3. Recharging cycle automatically turns off
scale after 12 hours.
4. You can weigh on your scale while it is
recharging.
5. FS6 will operate for 50 continuous
hours on a full charge.
Note: Your new FS6 may not be fully
charged at the time of purchase. This is
not a defect. Simply recharge and begin
normal use.
Operating Instructions
1. Place scale on level surface.
2. Plug adapter into scale and then into
wall outlet.
3. Turn scale on by depressing
"momentary" rocker switch to the back
position (I).
4. Be sure display reads "0" before placing
objects on platform.
5. Depress and hold "Zero" key until arrow
changes to the desired weighing mode
(Ounces or grams).
IF "OVERLOAD" APPEARS IN LOWER
HALF OF DISPLAY, YOU HAVE
EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM
CAPACITY OF YOUR SCALE.
6. Depress rocker switch forward to (0)
turn off scale.
Special Features
HOLD MODE:
Locks and displays weight for up to 4
seconds after an object is removed
from platform. This feature is useful for
items that may block "LED Display".
To Activate hold mode:
1. Remove dip switch cover on the bottom
of scale.
2. Move dip switch #2 into "ON" position.
3. Replace dip switch cover
4. Scale will remain in "Hold" mode until
dip switch #2 is returned into the
original factory preset position. (OFF)
AUTO SHUT-OFF:
The FS6 has a pre-programmed auto
shut-off function which turns the scale
off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
TO CANCEL AUTO SHUT-OFF:
1. Remove the dip switch cover on the
bottom of scale.
2. Move dip switch #1 into constant "ON"
position.
3. Replace dip switch cover.
4. Scale will continue to operate without
an Auto Shut-off until the end user
returns dip switch #1 to the original
factory preset position. (AUTO OFF)
ZERO ADJUST
MULTI-INGREDIENT WEIGHING:
1. "ZERO" is used to return Scale reading
to zero. Additionally, it can be used to
"Tare" or offset the weight of a container
or ingredients.
2. Place empty container on Scale. Touch
"Zero". Place material to be weighed in
container. Display now shows net
weight of material in container.
3. Touch "ZERO" again each time
additional material is weighed.
4. When container is removed from scale,
display will show the negative weight of
the container, indicating Scale is in the
"Tare" mode. Touch "ZERO" to clear
and return to zero.
NOTE: TO PROLONG THE ADAPTER
(MODEL ADPT6) LIFE, DISCONNECT
ADAPTER FROM WALL OUTLET
WHEN EXTENDED USE IS NOT
ANTICIPATED.
