Problem solving guide
A fault indicator lamp comes on but the wash programme
continues as normal.
Problem
The Water inlet/drain
indicator lamp flashes
during a programme,
but the wash
programme has run
normally.
The Water inlet/drain
indicator lamp is
flashing.
The Drying overload
indicator lamp is
flashing towards the
end of a drying
programme.
The Anti-crease/Finish
indicator lamp is
flashing and the
locked indicator lamp
is on.

Possible cause
There is a blockage in
the water inlet.
The water pressure is
too low.
The filter in the water
inlet hose is dirty.
There is a blockage in
the water outlet.
The load was too
large.
The selected
programme was
altered with the safety
lock activated.
Remedy
Check whether:
– the stopcock is opened
wide enough.
– the inlet hose is kinked.
– In this case, call the Miele
Service Dept.
– Clean the filter as described
in "Cleaning and care".
– Clean the fluff filter and the
drain pump.
– Has the drain hose been
fitted too high? Max.

– In future do not exceed the
maximum load. This way
you will avoid:
a) Creasing of
delicate textiles
b) Uneven drying
results / damp laundry
Complete the drying process
using a TIMED DRYING
programme.
