Exhaust system installation

1. Install the plate "1" onto the rubber hose
"2".
TIP:
Make sure to fit the projections "a" on the rub-
ber hose "2" with the grooves in the plate "1".

2. Install the rubber hose "1" and a new ex-
haust valve "2", and then tighten the nuts
"3" to the specified torque.
Do not reuse a exhaust valve, always re-
place it with a new one.

5.5 Nm (0.55 kgf·m, 4.06 ft·lb)
3. Install the water tank "1", and then tighten
the clamp "2" to the specified torque.
TIP:
Align the alignment mark "a" on the rubber
hose "3" with the alignment mark "b" on the wa-
ter tank "1".

3.5 Nm (0.35 kgf·m, 2.58 ft·lb)
4. Install the water lock and rubber hose "1",
and then tighten the clamp "2" to the spec-
ified torque.
TIP:
Align the projection "a" on the rubber hose "1"
with the alignment mark "b" on the water tank.

3.5 Nm (0.35 kgf·m, 2.58 ft·lb)
5. Install the resonator "1", and then tighten
the clamp "2" to the specified torque.
TIP:
Fit the protrusion "a" on the resonator "1" be-
tween the protrusions "b" on the rubber hose.
