8. Connect the ETV coupler.

ETV circuit continuity

1. Disconnect the ETV coupler "a" and ECM
couplers "b" and "c".
2. Check the wire harness for continuity. Re-
place if there is no continuity. Replace the
ETV if there is continuity.

3. Connect the ETV coupler and ECM cou-
plers.

APS check

APS 1, APS 2, and APS full close switch are
components of the throttle lever, which
cannot be disassembled.
1. Connect the YDIS to display "APS 1",
"APS 2", and "APS full close switch".
TIP:
When checking the APS using the YDIS, do
not start the engine.
2. Operate the throttle lever "1", and then
check the output voltages of APS 1 and
APS 2 at the fully closed position "A" and
fully open position "B".
