Motorola RF Switch CLI Reference Guide
Parameters
<ap-index>
[default|sensor|
standalone]
Sets the indices of the APs to be converted.
• <ap-index> – The index of the AP to be converted. This
index can be found from the 'show wireless ap'
command
• default – Does not force conversion. Lets the AP
negotiate its normal mode of operation with the switch
• sensor {static-ip <IP/Mask> {<gateway-IP>}}– Converts
an AP300 to operate as an IPS (Intrusion Prevention
System) sensor
• static-ip <IP/Mask> – Optional. Sensor must use
specific static IP address
• <IP/Mask> – Sensor IP address and network mask.
• <gateway-IP> – Optional. Specify gateway IP address
for sensors
Note: The switch will not be able to adopt this AP again until it is
converted back to a AP300 using the
command
revert-to-ap
• standalone – Converts a thin AP-4131 back to a stand-
alone AP.
Note: The switch will not be able to adopt this AP again until the
AP is converted back to a thin-AP using the AP's configuration
interface.
