RADIATOR
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
Caution
. Eetore loosening the radiator drain plug, verlty lhat the radiator d.ain hose tac€s straight down,
. Poallion the hose damp in the original localion on the hose, and squeeze the clamp lightly
with large pliers to ensure a good tit.
1 Disconnecl lhe negatrve battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
4. lnstall in the reverse oroer ol removal

1. Cooling fan connector
2. Coolant reservoir hose
3. Radialor hose
4. Oil cooler hose (ATX)
5. Radiator bracket
6. Radiator

7- Cooling fan and radiator cowling assembly
INSPECTION
Check for the tollowing and repair or replace as necessary.
1. Cracks, damage, and water leakage.
2. Bent lins (repair with a screwdriver).
3. Distoned or bent radiator inlet.
Sleps Atter Installation
1. Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of en-
gine coolant. (Refer to page E-4.)
2. Connect the negative battery cable.
3. Start the engine and check for leaks.
