9 Be sure to connect the red
battery charger lead to the
positive (+) battery terminal,
and connect the black lead
to the negative (–) battery
terminal. Do not reverse
these positions.
9 Connect the battery charger
leads to the battery termi-
nals securely so that they
are not disconnected due to
engine vibration or other
disturbances.
9 Charge the battery in the
correct procedure by fol-
lowing instructions in the
owner's manual for the bat-
tery.
9 The DC protector turns off
automatically if current
above the rated flows dur-
ing battery charging.
To restart charging the bat-
tery, turn the DC protector
on by pressing its button to
"ON". If the DC protector
turns off again, stop charg-
ing the battery immediately
and consult a Yamaha deal-
er.

9 Veillez à connecter le fil du

batterie et le fil noir sur la
borne négative (–) de la bat-
terie. N'inversez pas ces posi-
tions.

Connectez correctement les
fils du chargeur de batterie
aux bornes de la batterie de
façon à ce qu'elles ne se
déconnectent pas en raison
des vibrations du moteur ou
d'autres interférences.

Chargez la batterie selon la
procédure correcte en sui-
vant les instructions mention-
nées dans le manuel de l'utili-
sateur de la batterie.

La protection CC est auto-
matiquement désactivée si le
courant dépasse la puissance
nominale pendant la charge
de la batterie.
Pour redémarrer la charge
de la batterie, réactivez la
protection CC en appuyant
son bouton sur la position
« ON ». Si la protection CC
se déclenche à nouveau, arrê-
tez immédiatement la charge
de la batterie et consultez un
concessionnaire Yamaha.
