Common
Symptom
The power will not turn
on. The unit will not
operate.
Operation with the remote
control is not possible.
The unit does not operate
correctly even when
the appropriate remote
control buttons are
pressed.
There is no sound.
The volume level will not
rise.
There is no sound.
Demo mode always
starts.
System setting returns to
initial state.
The aspect ratio is
incorrect and the image is
stretched.
There is no
image displayed.
The image displayed
stops (pauses) and the
unit cannot be operated.
There is no sound.
The volume level is low.
The sound and video
skip.
Cause
Leads and connectors are
incorrectly connected.
The fuse is blown.
Noise and/or other factors
are causing the built-in
microprocessor to operate
incorrectly.
The power isn't enabled
correctly.
Battery power is low.
Cables are not
connected correctly.
Mute is On at the time of
the source of "AV/AUX."
Wiring of "ACC+" and
"Battery" are reversed
each other.
The aspect ratio setting is
incorrect for the display.
The parking
brake cable is
not connected.
The data could no longer
be read during playback.
The volume level is low.
The unit is not firmly
secured.
Action
Confirm once more that all
connections are correct.
Rectify the cause and then replace
the fuse. Be sure to install a fuse
with the same rating.
Press [RESET].
Press [SRC] button to turn on the
unit.
Load a new battery.
Connect the cables
correctly.
Press [MUTE].
Please confirm wiring of "Battery"
and "ACC+".
Refer to "Wiring diagram" (page
21)
Select the appropriate setting for
your display.
Connect the parking
brake cable, and apply the parking
brake.
Stop playback once, and start
playback again.
Adjust the volume level.
Firmly secure the unit.
