This noise occurs principally in cookware which consists of layers of different
materials when used at the highest heat setting and on two elements next to each
other. This whistling disappears or becomes quieter when the power is turned
down.
The electronics require a controlled temperature in order to function reliably. The
cooktop is therefore fitted with a fan which runs at various speeds according to the
temperature detected. The fan may also continue to run even after the cooktop has
been switched off if the temperature it detects is still too high.
The sounds described are a normal part of induction technology and do not indicate
a defect.
Contact our Technical Service Department if your appliance needs repair. Our central
Customer Service Center (see below) will also be happy to supply you with details on a
center close to you.
When you contact our customer service, have the product (E) number and the
manufacturing (FD) number for your appliance available. You can find the identification
plate with these numbers on the underside of the appliance.

The limited warranty provided by BSH Home Appliances Bosch in this Statement of
Limited Product Warranty applies only to the Bosch NIT5065UC, NIT8065UC,
NIT5665UC, NIT8665UC, NIT3065UC, ("Product") sold to you, the first using purchaser,
provided that the Product was purchased:
For your normal, household (non commercial) use, and has in fact at all times only

been used for normal household purposes.
New at retail (not a display, as is", or previously returned model), and not for resale,

Within the United States or Canada, and has at all times remained within the country

The warranties stated herein apply only to the first purchaser of the Product and are not
transferable. Bosch reserves the right to request proof of purchase at the time any
warranty claim is submitted to confirm that the Product falls within the scope of this
limited product warranty.
Please make sure to return your registration card; while not necessary to effectuate
warranty coverage, it is the best way for Bosch to notify you in the unlikely event of a
safety notice or product recall.
