Laser Focus Adjustment

1) Check to make sure that the marking [1] on the
lens assembly matches the marking [2] on the
lens mount (standard position).

If the unit is not in standard position, loosen the
locking nut [3], and turn the lens assembly until the
distance to the end [4] of the lens assembly is 27.3
±0.2 mm, i.e., where the markings match.

2) Perform focusing adjustments by turning the
lens assembly once again according to the val-
ues recorded on the label. For instance, if the
value is "+2/8," turn the lens assembly in the
positive direction (counterclockwise when
viewing from the end of the lens assembly)
over two notches.

3) Tighten the locking nut, and fix the position of
the lens in place.
