 Admin — Allows the administrator to enable or disable the port.

 State — Displays this port is blocking and forwarding.
l
 Rate/Duplex — Offers the choice of Full, Half, or Auto, which automatically detects the value of the attached device and sets the port duplex mode
l
accordingly.
 Flow Ctrl — If enabled, stops the sender from sending data until the receiver can accept it.
l
 Comments — Allows the administrator to name the port or make comments.

NOTE:
This option only provides for 3024 if 3048 and 3024 are mixed in a stack. For the combo gigabit ports in the stack, you can choose the port type.
If you choose a gigabit interface converter (GBIC) interface, you must switch the port type from "GT" to "GB" by pressing the spacebar on the two
letters next to the port number.
 
Address Manager
 The Address Manager screen includes the following options:
 Static Addresses

 Dynamic Addresses

 Address Aging
l
 Static Multicast Groups Administration

 Static Multicast Groups Membership

Static Addresses
 From the Static Addresses screen, you can specify the media access control (MAC) address for specific ports that will not be purged from the bridge table by
the aging function.
 The following information is required to add a MAC address:
 MAC Address — Enter a MAC address under the first column and press <Enter>.
l
 Port — Enter the port number associated with the MAC address.
l
 If all the information is correct, the new entry appears in the screen in order by port ID.
