  • Page 3 95-7419 2005-06 NISSAN ALTIMA Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the climate controls. (Figure A) Remove (4) Phillips screws securing climate control and remove. (Figure B) Unclip and remove the panel sur- rounding radio including A/C vents.
  • Page 4 95-7419 2005-06 NISSAN ALTIMA DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Snap the 95-7419 trim plate into the radio trim panel. (Figure A) Slide the DDIN radio unit into the factory brackets and secure the unit to the brackets using the screws supplied with the head unit.
  • Page 5 95-7419 2005-06 NISSAN ALTIMA STACKED ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Snap the 95-7419 trim plate into the radio trim panel. (Figure A) Slide the stacked ISO DIN units into the factory brackets and secure the units to the brackets using the screws supplied with the head units.
  • Page 6 95-7419 FINAL ASSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) 2 Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
