Marking an directory entry as VIP
You can mark the directory entries for callers who are particularly important as VIP (Very
Important Person) using Æ . You can assign a particular ringer melody to a VIP number
so you can tell from the tone who is phoning. The VIP melody starts after the first ringer
tone.
Prerequisite: The incoming call number has been transmitted (page 20).

Open the directory.
Select the entry and open the menu.
Select the menu item and confirm.

In the VIP: line activate the function.
Scroll down a line. The current melody rings and its
number is shown at the end of the line. Select a mel-
ody (1–10) (page 97).
Press the display key to save the setting.
Hold down (return to idle).
Open the directory/speed dial list.
Select the entry and open the menu.
Deleting a single entry:
Select the menu item and confirm.
