99-7863 HONDA ELEMENT 2003-UP Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove shift lever trim panel. For manual transmis- sion models, untwist shift knob. (Figure A) Unsnap and remove center dash panel. (Figure B) -

99-7863 DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION WITH POCKET Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage and secure. (Figure B) NOTE: Models equipped with factory DDIN radio will require supplied O.E. -
