- Page 3 99-9103 AUDI A4 2001-2007 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Insert Metra’s 86-9001 into the slots in the factory head unit and pull the unit out. Figure A Disconnect the wiring.
- Page 4 99-9103 DIN Head Unit Provision Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. Slide the after-market head unit into the cage until secure.

Figure A Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. Snap radio housing assembly into factory radio opening. 99-9103 Strip wire ends back 1/2" Twist ends together Solder Tape... - Page 6 99-9103...
