99-9104 AUDI A3 2006-2010 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Insert the long ends of Metra’s 86- 9001 head unit removal tools (Figure B) into the slots in the factory head unit and pull the unit out. (Figure A) Disconnect the wiring. -

99-9104 AUDI A3 2006-2010 DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) Slide the aftermarket head unit into the DIN cage until secure. (Figure B) Slide the included pocket into the Radio Housing until secure. -

99-9104 FINAL ASSEMBLY Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
