(Figure E) Remove the (2) Phillips screws securing the side panels from each side of the radio/climate control panel. (Figure F) Carefully remove the side panels from each side of the radio/climate control panel by pulling straight back towards the rear of the car.

    99-7519B KIT PREPARATION MAZDA MX-5 MIATA 2009-2010 Attach the (4) Panel Clips to the posts on the back of the radio housing. (Figure A)

    99-7519B DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Turn over the 99-7519B housing, take the climate control and screws removed from the factory panel and attach the climate control to the kit housing using the factory screws. (Figure A) Slide the pocket into the bottom section of the kit housing.

    99-7519B ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Turn over the 99-7519B housing, take the climate control and screws removed from the factory panel and attach the climate control to the kit housing using the factory screws. (Figure A) Slide the pocket into the bottom section of the kit housing.

    99-7519B DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Turn over the 99-7519B housing, take the climate control and screws removed from the factory panel and attach the climate control to the kit housing using the factory screws. (Figure A) Cut the rib in the middle of the 99- 7519B housing to make room for the DDIN brackets.

    99-7519B STACKED ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Turn over the 99-7519B housing, take the climate control and screws removed from the factory panel and attach the climate control to the kit housing using the factory screws. (Figure A) Cut the rib in the middle of the 99- 7519B housing to make room for the DDIN brackets.

    99-7519B FINAL ASSEMBLY 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent 2 Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
