qa - (key inhibit) switch
Slide to ON to inhibit the key operation on the front
panel. When the key inhibit function works, the -
indicator 9 lights.
Note
The controls from the PARALLEL REMOTE terminal
cannot be locked.
qs Computer input terminal (D-sub 15 pin, female)
Connect to the monitor output on a computer. Only
the computer signal can be input to this terminal.
The Plug & Play function corresponds to DDC2B.
qd Service terminal
This connector is used by service personnel only.
qf ?/a (power) switch
Turn on and off the power of the monitor. When the
power is turned on (? ), the POWER indicator q;
lights.
qg Optional input slot (1 slot)
Optional input adaptor can be attached according to
your requirements.
qh /I (equipotential/function earth) terminal
(equipotential) terminal
Connects the equipotential plug.
I (function earth) terminal
Connects the earth cable.

qj PARALLEL REMOTE terminal
(D-sub 9 pin, female)
When an optional adaptor is attached to this unit, you
can select the input terminal, aspect and overscan
level by using the controller which has the selector
function.
To select the function, connect each pin and 9 pin.
Even if the pins are disconnected later, the selected
function keeps working.
For details on the selectable input terminal, see "Pin
assignment" on page 19.
Notes
• When no adaptor is attached to this unit, the
PARALLEL REMOTE terminal does not function.
• Even when the - switch qa is set to ON, this
function works.
qk AUDIO IN connector (stereo mini jack)
Connects to the audio output connector.
Note
The audio signal cannot be changed even when the
video signal is switched.
ql - (AC IN) socket
Connect the supplied AC power cord to this socket.
w; DC OUT 12V/0.2A
You can use this connector as a power source for the
other equipment. DC 12V/0.2A is output.
