Reading the Operating Instructions (PDF format)

More detailed instructions on the operation of this camera are contained in
"Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)" in the supplied
CD-ROM.

For Windows
Turn the PC on and insert the CD-ROM containing the
Operating Instructions (supplied)
• The menu screen appears. If the menu screen does not appear, you can
display it by executing [Launcher.exe] in [SFMXXXX] in [Computer]. (The
"XXXX" portion differs depending on the model.)
Click [Operating Instructions]
• The list of Operating Instructions (PDF format) will be displayed.
Click the language of the Operating Instructions you want to open
• The "Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)" will
open. You can save the "Operating Instructions for advanced features"
on the PC.

You will need Adobe Reader to browse or print the Operating Instructions
(PDF format). You can download and install a version of Adobe Reader that
you can use with your OS from the following website. (As of January 2015)

For Mac
Turn the PC on and insert the CD-ROM containing the
Operating Instructions (supplied)
Open the "Manual" folder in the CD-ROM
Double click the [INDEX.pdf]
• The list of Operating Instructions (PDF format) will be displayed.
Click the language of the Operating Instructions you want to open
• The "Operating Instructions for advanced features (PDF format)" will
open. You can save the "Operating Instructions for advanced features"
on the PC.
