1. PREPARATIONS

Precautions
• Do not exceed the specification ratings.
• All wiring must conform to local and national electrical codes and ordinances.
1.1 Check package contents
This package should contain the following items:
• Thermostat
• Mounting screws and wall anchors (x2)
• 2 AA batteries
1.2 Gather tools
Required tools:
□ Small Phillips or Flat-head screwdriver
□ Small pliers (needle-nose)
□ Drill with 3/16" (4 mm) bit
• Terminal wire label stickers
• Installation instructions
Optional tools:
□ Wire cutters/stripper
□ Hammer (for wall anchors)
