If ice has formed on the road, tire traction will be substantially reduced. Under such weather conditions, drive, steer and brake with extreme caution. Mercedes-Benz recommends M+S rated radial-ply tires with a minimum tread depth of approximately in (4 mm) on all four wheels for the winter season to ensure normal balanced handling characteristics.
CLK 320 with Appearance Package Your vehicle is factory equipped with “W”-rated tires, which have a speed rating of 168 mph (270 km/h). Operation At the gas station Refueling Warning! Gasoline is highly flammable and poisonous. It burns violently and can cause serious inju- ry. Whenever you are around gasoline, avoid inhaling fumes and skin contact, extinguish all smoking materials. Never allow sparks, flame or smoking materials near gasoline! Failure to remove the fuel cap slowly could result in personal injury.
Page 304
Warning! Overfilling of the fuel tank may create pressure in the system which could cause a gas discharge. This could cause the gas to spray back out when removing the fuel pump nozzle, which could cause personal injury. Replace fuel cap by turning it clockwise.

Operation Tires and wheels Tire care and maintenance Warning! Regularly check the tires for damage. Dam- aged tires can cause tire inflation pressure loss. As a result, you could lose control of your vehicle. Worn, old tires can cause accidents. If the tire tread is badly worn, or if the tires have sustained damage, replace them.
Page 316
Tread depth Do not allow your tires to wear down too far. Adhesion properties on wet roads are sharply reduced at tread depths under in (3 mm). Treadwear indicators (TWI) are required by law. These indicators are located in six places on the tread circumference and become visible at a tread depth of approx- imately...

Operation Tires and wheels Recommended tire inflation pressure Warning! Follow recommended tire inflation pressures. Do not underinflate tires. Underinflated tires wear excessively and/or unevenly, adversely affect handling and fuel economy, and are more likely to fail from being over- heated. Do not overinflate tires.
Page 324
Placard (Example B) 1 Vehicle Tire Information placard with recommended cold tire inflation pressures Placard (Example B) lists the recommend- ed cold tire inflation pressures for maxi- mum loaded vehicle weight. The tire inflation pressures listed apply to the tires installed as original equipment.
Operation Tires and wheels Checking tire inflation pressure Regularly check your tire inflation pressure at least once a month. Check and adjust the tire inflation pressure when the tires are cold. The tires can be considered cold if the vehicle has been parked for at least three hours or driven less than one mile (1.6 km).

Warning! Follow recommended tire inflation pressures. Do not underinflate tires. Underinflated tires wear excessively and/or unevenly, adversely affect handling and fuel economy, and are more likely to fail from being over- heated. Do not overinflate tires. Overinflated tires can adversely affect handling and ride comfort, wear unevenly, increase stopping distance, and result in sudden deflation (blowout) because they are more likely to...

Operation Tires and wheels Maximum tire load 1 Maximum tire load rating For illustration purposes only. Actual data on tires is specific to each vehicle and may vary from data shown in above illustration. The maximum tire load is the maximum weight the tires are designed to support.
Always follow the recommended tire inflation pressure ( page 322) for proper tire inflation. Warning! Never exceed the max. tire inflation pressure. Follow recommended tire inflation pressures. Do not underinflate tires. Underinflated tires wear excessively and/or unevenly, adverse- ly affect handling and fuel economy, and are more likely to fail from being overheated.
Page 335
Operation Tires and wheels Treadwear The treadwear grade is a comparative rat- ing based on the wear rate of the tire when tested under controlled conditions on a specified government test course. For ex- ample, a tire graded 150 would wear one and one-half (1 ) times as well on the government course as a tire graded 100.
Warning! The temperature grade for this tire is estab- lished for a tire that is properly inflated and not overloaded. Excessive speed, underin- flation, or excessive loading, either sepa- rately or in combination, can cause excessive heat build-up and possible tire failure.

Questions and answers
Have a 2005 Merceda clk500 Was running when I got it. I was trying to fix a back blinker and did something to cause it to not start it's been to a couple shops, but they don't even know what's wrong with it, does this mean it needs to be reprogramed.
The context does not mention any need to reprogram a 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class Cabriolet if it won't start after attempting to fix a back blinker. It only advises replacing malfunctioning bulbs or visiting an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center for certain lighting issues.
