This unit is designed to operate on AC household current or DC (batteries). Use the AC polarized line cord included with the unit for operation on AC power. Insert one end of the AC line cord into the AC power jack on the rear of the unit and the other end (with the 2 blades) into a conve- niently located AC outlet having 120V, 60Hz. -

SETTING THE CLOCK With the power off, press and hold the CLK SET button. Release the CLK SET button and the time will be set. LINE IN Jack (FRONT OF UNIT) By using a home audio connection cable (not included), you can listen to an external audio unit through this unit’s speakers. -

OPERATION (CONTINUED) LISTENING TO THE RADIO Rotate the Function control to the AM or FM position to turn the unit on and select a radio band. The radio frequency will appear in the display. Adjust the VOLUME control 1 and Bass Boost button 2 as desired. -

OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PLAY A CD Rotate the Function control 1 to the CD position to turn the unit on and select CD. Open the CD compartment door by pressing the CD Door OPEN area 2.
