    Firmware is software in the player that controls the unit’s microprocessor. The software (firmware) can be downloaded from www.memorex.com and then copied to a CD, DVD or USB device. We recommend updating to the latest firmware to enhance the product’s operation and/or add new features.

PLAYABLE DISCS: The following discs can be played back on this player: When playing an MP3, the total number of files will appear in the display, and the TV screen will list the folders/tracks. MP3 is the abbreviation of “MPEG1 Audio Layer 3”.
