Reversing The Door Handles - GE 18 Owner's Manual

Reversing the door handles.

Read these instructions completely and carefully.
Transfer Fresh Food Door Handle
Remove the handle plug using a
putty knife under the edge. Remove
the screw underneath.
Remove the two screws holding the
handle to the top of the door. If the
model has a long handle, remove
the screw at the bottom of the door.

Models with long handles have a
screw at the bottom of the door.
Transfer Freezer Door Handle
Remove the screws holding the handle to the top and
bottom of the door.
Move the screws on the right side of the door to the
handle screw holes on the left side.
Reattach the handle on the opposite side using the
holes closest to the edge of the door.

Move the plug button from the left
edge of the door and insert it into
the hole on the opposite side.
Move the door medallion.
