9.4 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF
MAINTENANCE-MODE FUNCTIONS

9.4.1 EEPROM Parameter Initialization (Function code 01, 91)

Function
The machine initializes the parameters, user switches, firmware switches, and assurance mode
switch settings registered in the EEPROM, to the initial values.

NOTE: If you replace the main PCB with the one used for any other machine, carry out this
procedure and then customize the EEPROM (function code 74 in
Operating Procedure
(1) Enter 0 and 1 in the initial stage of the maintenance mode using the / and OK keys.
The "PARAMETER INIT" appears on the LCD.
(2) Upon completion of parameter initialization, the machine returns to the initial stage of the
maintenance mode.
Function code
(Note that the first digit of the 4-digit code will be
initialized to "0." If the code is 1001, for example, it
will be initialized to 0001.)
