4) Remove the 2 screws [2], and remove the assist
stopper [1].

5) Loosen the screw [1] of the assist stopper, and
adjust it so that the degree of displacement of the
stopper [2] falls within the range of the reference
value [3].

If the measured value [3] obtained in the step
3 is -A, move the stopper [2] in the direction
of the white arrow, on the other hand, if it is
+A, move in the direction of the black arrow.

6) Attach the assist stopper [1] using the 2 screws [2].

This adjustment is performed either when poor tray
stacking occurs with thin papers shown in the figure
below or when the EEPROM (IC107) on the finisher
controller PCB is replaced.
1) Turn on the finisher.

2) Turn on the host machine so that the machine will
be in a standby state.
