4) Remove the screw [2] to detach the switch cover

5) Set DIP SW382 [1] on the switch PCB as follows:
- if A configuration, [2]
- if L configuration, [3]
Thereafter, press SW385 to end the preparatory
work.

6) Hold the lever [1], and slide out the saddle unit
[2]; then, open the saddle right guide [3].

7) Place paper [3] in the saddle assembly [1]. (A4R
or LTRR)
At this time, moving up the gear in area A in the
direction of the arrow releases the saddle pull-in
roller so that paper may be placed in the saddle
assembly.

8) Check to see that there is a gap between the saddle
guide plate and the edge of the paper. If there is,
go to the next step.
