    Super Audio Compact Disc (SACD) Discs Formats. • Advanced Transport The MCD301 has a new transport with a Die Cast Mecha- nism Base and Disc Tray. It has the latest in advanced digital servo for faster, quieter and accurate operation. The SACD and CD Audio Data is read into memory from the disc at twice the normal rate.

    Installation The MCD301 can be placed upright on a table or shelf, standing on its four feet. It also can be custom installed in a piece of furniture or cabinet of your choice. The four feet may be removed from the bottom of the MCD301 when it is custom installed as outlined below.

    BACK  Push-button Note: If the back of the first three seconds of the track, the MCD301 will start playing back the previous track from the beginning. If the Front Panel Information Display is indicating time the display will momentarily indicate the track number.

    With a disc already loaded into the MCD301, press the PLAY Push- button on the Front Panel of the MCD301 or Remote Con- trol. Refer to figures 6 and 16. The Disc will start playing the first track of the SACD Layer.
