• Always work from a stable position on your feet. • Do not use the hedge trimmer while standing on a ladder or other unstable support. • When trimming tall hedges or bushes, use a stable, safe platform and stand in a stable posi- tion without the risk of losing your balance. -

Make sure the STOP switch is on I. Make sure that the fuel tank is at least 25% full. Make sure the air filter is clean. Remove the sparkplug, dry and clean it, then return it to its place. If necessary, replace it. -
