Removing a 5.25-inch drive

NOTE: HP does not offer a 5.25-inch optical drive for this computer model. A 5.25-inch optical drive
may have been installed by the user or third-party vendor.
CAUTION:

Prepare the computer for disassembly

4. Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the back of the drive.
CAUTION:
avoid damaging the cable.

Press down on the green drivelock mechanism (1) and slide the drive from the drive bay (2).
