WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your refrigerator, follow these basic precautions: Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord. -

To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for (1.25 cm) space on each side and at the top. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave 2" (5.08 cm) minimum on each side (depending on your model) to allow for the door to swing open. -
Page 4: Connect Water Supply
Tighten the compression nut. Do not overtighten. 3. Use the tube clamp on the back of the refrigerator to secure the tubing to the refrigerator as shown. This will help avoid damage to the tubing when the refrigerator is pushed back against the wall. -

Settings to the right of the mid-setting make the temperature colder. Wait 24 hours before you put food into the refrigerator. If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely, your food may spoil. -

Non-Indicator Water Filter (on some models) If your refrigerator does not have the water filter status light, you should change the water filter cartridge at least every 6 months depending on your water quality and usage. If the water flow to the water dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably before 6 months have passed, replace the water filter more often. -

The motor seems to run too much Your new refrigerator may run longer than your old one due to its high-efficiency compressor and fans. The unit may run even longer if the room is warm, a large food load is added, doors are opened often, or if the doors have been left open. -

Are there minerals (such as sulfur) in the water? A water filter may need to be installed to remove the minerals. Is there a water filter installed on the refrigerator? Gray or dark discoloration in ice indicates that the water filtration system needs additional flushing. -
