Step 1: Power On Your Amazfit Balance
To begin, you need to power on your Amazfit Balance watch. Press and hold the Home button on the side of the smartwatch. Continue holding the button until the Amazfit logo is visible on the display. Once you see the logo, release the button and wait for the device to boot up completely. On startup, you'll encounter a list of language options. Swipe up or down on the screen to navigate through these options. Upon locating your preferred language, select it by tapping on it and then tapping the check mark to confirm your choice.
Step 2: Install the Zepp App on Your Android Device
Next, it's time to prepare your Android phone for pairing. Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that Bluetooth is enabled. Access the Google Play Store by tapping on its icon from your home screen or app drawer. In the Play Store, use the search function by tapping on the search bar at the top. Type in "Zepp" (note the two Ps), and from the list of search results, locate the Zepp app, which was previously known as Amazfit. Tap on "Install" to download and install the app on your device.
Step 3: Log into the Zepp App
Once the Zepp app is installed, open it by tapping "Open" from the Play Store or by finding it in your app drawer. You'll need to log in with a Zepp account to proceed. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one by selecting "Sign up," or use a third-party account such as Facebook, Google, or Xiaomi for convenience. If you already have an account, simply tap "Sign in" and enter your credentials. After logging in, you will land on the home page of the app.
Step 4: Pair Your Amazfit Balance with the Zepp App
First make sure that your AmazFit Balance watch is connected to your Android or at least is available for it. Now witht he Zepp App opened, a code should be displayed on both devices, makesure that they both are the same. Once completed, tap "Pair" and confirm pairing by tapping the check mark on your watch.
Step 5: Completing the Setup
As you wrap up, the Zepp app offers the option to synchronize data with your watch. If you've previously used other Zepp-compatible devices, you can transfer settings to your new watch. If preferred, you can start fresh by selecting "Set as new device." Make your choice by tapping on either option, and then finalize the setup by selecting "Done." At this juncture, your watch will be accessible through the app, and with a quick wake on the watch, you'll see it's ready to use.
Step 6: Explore Features and Custom Settings
Now that your Amazfit Balance is successfully paired with your Android phone, take some time to explore the features available through the Zepp app. You can customize watch faces, set your preferred measurement units, and tailor notifications to suit your needs. To access these options, go back to the "Device" tab in the app and select your watch from the list of devices. From here, you can explore various settings and personalization options.

Within the Zepp app, you can enable activity recognition and set daily fitness goals, such as step counts or calorie targets.
